Hello guys, so it's been a while since I've done a 'Lifestyle' post but I thought I would update you guys on what's been going on for the past few weeks ( more like months ) or so.
So first of all, the last time I did one of these was when I went to London to visit my Auntie. Well a few weeks after I went back ( for only a day though ) for the Harry Potter Studio tour. I had been wanting to for ages & finally I got the chance to go. If you didn't know my family are big fans of the Harry Potter films ( more me & my sister though ), so it's something we all enjoyed. I really loved seeing what went on behind the scenes, also, as I'm wanting to go on to do Special FX makeup it was nice seeing what I could end up doing!
♡ Sorry for the bad photo, but this is the stuff I got from there. Of course I had to go on the Broom Simulator, so I bought the picture from there & with our tickets we got a Souvenir Guide! The badge we got free at the end of the tour & the only thing I ended up buying from the shop ( since a lot of things were pricey ) was a Draco postcard, ehehehuhuhu ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) If you want to see any more pictures you can see them on my Facebook, just ask & I will link it! ♡
I also went to another Convention, which is local, as Homura again, I didn't take much photos apart from this one.
♡ Don't ask about the awkward pose ♡
I also got my exam results back which were pretty good, I was very pleased to say that I achieved an A* in art. As a reward my mum put some money towards a Cosplay ( which still hasn't arrived yet since it's Custom made ), of course being a big fan of Madoka Magica I took the opportunity to get Madoka's outfit. ♡
♡ If anyone wants to know, I purchased mine from Cosmonde on eBay, you pretty much get everything with this outfit apart from contacts, shoes & a wig! I can't wait! I'll be wearing this to Birmingham MCM next month. Is anyone else going? ♡
So of course in September, I started back at school, well 'Sixth Form/ College' & settled in pretty well. I like all my subjects, even though maths is hard ( I knew it would be, but it's unsettling when they say they will kick you off the course if you don't do well in the mocks ; - ; ). Our school also had a Disney day to raise money for Charity. Of course I went as Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Notre Dame since it's one of my favourite films & she is one of my favourite characters. It was sort of a last minute thing, so some colours are off & I need better contacts for her, but I think I did a pretty good job.
♡ I haven't made GIFS in so long, haha - So awkward. Sorry about them being dark as well, my new webcam/ laptop is so dark ; - ; ♡
Speaking of ' Cosplay' I also watched Dangan Ronpa recently & loved it, so expect to see a Junko Enoshima & Celestisa Ludenburg Cosplay pretty soon!
So, apart from Cosplaying & getting stressed from school I have also been buying way too much recently, so I thought I'd do a Mini Haul, I've actually been planning this for ages but the weather has been terrible later & makes the lighting just awful!
But before I go on to stuff I bought I want to show you a few things which I got from other people!
♡ So if you have me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram then you would know that I actually won a giveaway hosted by JapanLAClothing! The prize is the Keroppi dress modelled in the photo! Never in a million years would I think that I would win it, but I was so happy when I did! I was having a pretty rubbish week so this put a smile on my face! ♡
♡ ( apologies to the awk pose ; - ; ignore it okay ? ) So here the dress on, I love the way it fits! I was actually panicking as to which size I should pick, I was worried that the small would be 'too small' since I'm quite a curvy person, but I was worried that the medium would hang looser on my stomach & chest. In the end I went with a small & it turned out to be the perfect size! If any bigger then it would of been far too loose on the top! I can't wait to wear this out! ♡
♡ Also, you probably know that Pokemon X & Y have recently come out. Well originally I was planning to get it for Christmas since I didn't have the money for it, but then my sister bought X for me. I'm ever so grateful ; 0 ; I haven't been playing it loads, since I've been at school, so I'm not very far but I'm trying my best to train my Pokemon & enjoy it! ♡
♡ My sister also went to London Expo recently & although I told her not to, she bought me back this Godoka/ Ultimate Madoka Nendroid. So not only did she bring me something back, but one of my most wanted figures. I've been eyeing this up for ages at literally every single MCM I've been to & now I can't believe I've got it! Once again I'm extremely grateful! I wish I could go out & buy my sister a load of stuff D; ♡
♡ I went a bit overboard on the photos but she was so pretty, aha ♡
♡ My dad also bought me a couple of clothes, which was very kind of him! He actually told me that USC was have an ' up to 90% off Sale' as they are closing down ( I think ) so I decided to take a look at some of the products! I ended up choosing this long sleeved baby pink crop top. Even though it's cropped, it's super cute with high waist skirts & layering up during the winter! I just wish I got some others now as this was only £2.00 ; u ; aha I also got the skirt worn in the photo. Unfortunately I don't have a 'great' photo of it but it's full length & has touches of lace to it! I've been wanting a full length white ( and black ) skirt for ages now, so getting this for £5.00 is pretty good! Although I do need it altering slightly since it's far too long on me. It also came with this studded belt, but I wasn't keen on it so I changed it too this simple brown braid one from Primark. ♡
♡ So with my money, the first thing I purchased was this Pinkly Ever After Camisole. I actually bought this off of my friend Abi, as she is selling some of her stuff as she is changing her style slightly! When this Camisole first came out on the Pinkly Ever After Etsy it became a regular on my wishlist until the day it finally sold out! But fortunately, Abi was selling hers, so I quickly bought it off her! I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to pair this up with, on this picture I'm just wearing some denim shorts underneath but I will find a perfect outfit eventually! She also gave me this really cute necklace as well, but unfortunately I don't have a picture of it!( apologies for looking rlly orange in this ) ♡
♡ I then made a small order on Boohoo.com, I've never actually ordered from there before but once again, I saw Abi wearing this T-shirt I particularly liked so ended up looking on there myself! I was very impressed with Boohoo.com, their clothes are cheap & their delivery was super quick! ♡
♡ This is the main reason I made the order, I've been looking for a top similar to this & this was perfect! It's made out of a thin material but once again it easy to layer up, it's also quite long so I can match this with leggings! It was only £10.00 also so I couldn't pass it up! ♡
♡ The second thing I bought was this 'bralet' ( although I wouldn't really call it a bralet, more just a crop top ), this came in pink, blue & black. I chose pink obviously, although I did expect it to come paler, but I actually prefer it being this colour thinking about it! I added this to my order as it was only £5.00! ♡
♡ So then from dainty.storenvy.com I got a Mint Suspender skirt, I've loved these since I first saw them & since they were £11.00 I thought why not??? I decided to get mint as I needed more of it in my wardrobe instead of pink or lilac! Unfortunately being as small as I am, the straps falls down on the odd occasion TT - TT but it's not too much of a problem! Also, I don't know if you can see it that well in this photo, but I also purchased some 'White Bunny Tights', unfortunately I don't have a photo of them, but they were only £2.50 off of eBay, but once again with me being short, the 'socks' come too high on my legs aha ♡
♡ So finally I bought this ' Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist', I got the one from Oily Skin since I don't have problems with dry skin & sometimes my skin gets a tiny bit oily. This was only about £5.00 on eBay so I decided to buy it since I've been wanting it for ages! ♡
♡ The Spray itself is nice, it smells really pleasant, quite a refreshing smell. I haven't seen loads of difference to my skin by it, but in all honesty I haven't tried it when my skin has been super bad, but it has been a pretty good setting spray for my makeup ♡
So that's pretty much it for this post, sorry if it seems unorganised but I tried my best!
I should be back soon with several reviews & I do have different ideas for some more posts which aren't reviews!
Anyway, thankyou so much for reading,
That is one big ass haul that I am extremely jealous of :x
