Be Cute ♡ Be Scary: ♡ Mimi Petit Deco

Today I'm going to be bringing you a review for the store MimiPetit.

MimiPetit is an Etsy store based in Australia who specialises in Deco phone cases.

Emily, the lovely owner on the store contacted me on Instagram asking if I could review one of her cases & of course I agreed! I was super excited as I've always wanted to own a Deco case but never got round to buying one!

Emily let me choose one of her many cases off her store, honestly it was so hard since there is so many cute ones!

So out of all of them I picked this Lala/ Little Twin Stars one! You can order one here! What I love about her store is that you can get custom cases, so if you're wanting something in particular you can just email her!

I chose this particular case purely because I'm obsessed with Little Twin Stars & when me & Robyn Cosplayed them I was Lala! I also love the sweet, candy themed Deco pieces so couldn't resist!

So my parcel took a week to arrive from Australia! Inside was my Case wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap (extra points for the Little Twin Stars deco tape) and a free gift - a panda squishy! I found the gift so cute, I don't know if I'm just trying to convince myself but I'm pretty sure it smells of bread!

Underneath the bubble wrap was even more protection in the form of a cute plastic bag decorated with sakura! The cute packaging really did add to the parcel!

So here is my photo of the case! I was really impressed actually, since the original design was on an iPhone 5, Emily told me that the design would be a bit squished! But to me this looks very similar and doesn't seemed 'squished' at all! As soon as I got it I decided to poke around at each piece just to see how sturdy they are and they were perfect! None had come loose during postage, not to mention the deco cream is so neat.

I had no problem putting the case on my phone (or taking it off), like none of the deco pieces or cream were in the way. The deco and pieces are placed on a clear case, which I prefer, I've seen other Deco cases in the past where they've placed them on really brightly coloured cases and I haven't been as keen! The only thing I'm worried about is that there isn't any protection on the front, so I'll have to get a protective screen cover for it in case I drop it!

Of course, with the amount of deco pieces on it, it makes the phone quite bulky. Once on, you can definitely tell the weight difference to you phone. If you prefer a lighter case then I wouldn't recommend it, but I prefer having it slightly heavier and bulkier as it's easier to hold and has extra support on the back.

View from the side, the only thing I'm worried about is the pieces which hang over the edge, so that's why I've got a pouch for me phone! You can also see how neat the deco cream is here!

Close up! The deco pieces are so cute, the only thing I would say about the Lala piece is the paintwork on it is a little messy, but it's nothing really noticeable. My friend only noticed that when I pointed it out to her! Dust gets caught easily to the deco cream, but it's easy to wipe off so don't be worried about that!

The deco cream is also placed around the camera so it doesn't get in the way when taking photos!

Like I mentioned my parcel arrived in exactly a week from Australia! The packaging was well thought out and super cute! I've even kept the packaging in case I can use it in future! I also received a cute note with my parcel which was super adorable! I couldn't ask for more.

Emily was super sweet, I found that it was really easy to communicate on Instagram! She made sure to keep me updated on my case, telling me when it was done & when it was sent out! She was super polite too & I find it really easy to speak to her!

I think I've expressed so much love for this case that it would be wrong for me not to give it a 5! Even though this is sturdy, just remember that this is a deco case and that you still have to keep careful with it!
