♡ Birmingham MCM 2015 Haul & Gogo Tomago Cosplay ♡

So on the 20th March me, Robyn and our friend Ethan attended Birmingham MCM!
It was our first MCM of this year and I was super excited for it! Like usual I'm going to show you some of our photos from the day and a small haul from the Convention. I've found that the more Coventions I go to, the less photos I take with people? Not because I don't like their Cosplay, but I just like talking to people more!

For this Convention, me and Robyn decided to jump on the bandwagon of Big Hero 6 Cosplays as we had recently seen it and fell in love! Robyn was definite on being Hiro Hamada, but I was unsure whether I wanted to be Gogo Tomago or Honey-Lemon! I went to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get your guys opinion and it turned out that a lot of people wanted me to be Gogo! I'm still going to Cosplay Honey Lemon, but I decided to start on my Gogo Cosplay straight away as I didn't have much time!

It was quite an easy Cosplay to put together and didn't cost me more than £25.00! As the first Convention of the year I was happy that my first Cosplay was comfy but still recognisable and recent! I was really happy I chose Gogo, I was the only one I saw at the convention, so people
seemed happy to see me. 

The day itself was pretty straight forward, got up early (I had to rush a little but I did some make up on the train so it was fine), got two trains and got in the convention! I didn't enjoy it as much at first, but as I got more into the day, it was really good. It was also the first convention I had attended with Ethan, so it was super fun!I'm not going to upload the photos with the other Cosplayers, just incase some are uncomfortable with them being on here!


However, because our train after the Convention was quite late, we had time to get a few photos as Hiro and Gogo! We had some together:

♡ My Haul ♡

So now onto the Haul bit! I feel like I didn't buy much this Expo, I found I was really interested in prints, which is good as I need more decoration for my room!

Here's the haul altogether (with added Cinderella make up, but that's for my birthday so ignore it), I had some Chocobaby and Mango Tea too, but I show the tea all the time in Hauls and I've ate the Chocobaby... so yeah. 8--)

The first thing I got was this Steven Universe Print, if you haven't head of Steven Universe, then where have you been?! I highly recommend it, so was happy to find this! I think it was £4/5.00? From the same store I got the Bee and Puppycat Stickers you can see in the above picture (kind of), they're super cute, but I don't know what to stick them on yet! They were £4.00!

Some other prints I got! I fell in love with these, I don't know if these are particular characters, but I bought them anyway since they were £1.00 each(?), the one on the left reminds me of Rose Quartz from Steven Universe, but that's just me! Also who can resist a Mermaid Space babe??? Not me that's for sure! 

From the same Artist I got this Sailor Moon Print! It was too cute to resist and was the same price as the others! This is currently stuck up on my Magical Girl shelf and is the perfect addition. Unfortunately I've lost the business card for her work, but if anyone recognises it don't hesitate to comment! 

So probably my most favourite prints I bought, I can't remember how much these were, but I fell in love. It was 3 for £3.00 but the other characters in this style I weren't too familiar with, so just got Sailor Moon and Bee! If anyone knows the name of the Artist it would be most appreciated! I really want a bigger print of hers and maybe some others as she did a really cute Gogo print as well.

From the store Nerd Craft I got this really pretty Sailor Mon Necklace! I love it so much, it was only £12.00 as well which I was pleasantly surprised at.

I actually wanted to find a Sumikko Gurashi plush, in particular the penguin! I wanted a larger one, but the time I found this I didn't have much money left! This little guy was £5.00 and is originally a keyring, however I took the chain off so he can just sit on my pillow. He's too cute and so squishy! Robyn bought one too! I love how he's holding a pickle, maybe next time I'll get a larger version. 

My most favourite purchase of the day was this WeLoveFine Puppycat plush. I know you can get it online, but I decided to save on shipping and customs and buy it there! Not only is it cute, but it's going to be handy for when I cosplay Bee (hopefully later this year) so am super pleased. If you squeeze his ear he makes noises, it so cute! So that's it for this post! It didn't seem as long, but I currently I'm finding it hard to find time to write blog posts lately as I have so much Coursework and Exams are coming up! They all finish in June, so after then I'm just going to try and blog more!

As for Conventions, I'm hoping to go to Hyper Japan and Manchester MCM in July. I'm not entirely sure which ones I'm going to later this year. I'm hoping to be in the Fashion Show for Hyper Japan and then Melty for Manchester(?), I'm not sure though. 

I hope in the Summer Holidays that I can make a few more Cosplays as well, like Black Heart (Hyper Dimension Neptunia), Bee, Bunny Girl Marceline, Kida and Tinkerbelle! I'm being a bit ambitious, but I want to use my free time wisely.
