So before I get back to reviews ( I seriously need to catch up on them eh... ) I decided I would blog about things I've been up to.
So what have I been up to?
Well last weekend I spent my time in London with my family. We originally planned to go to the Harry Potter Studios but it turned out it wasn't even open on the day we planned to go ( typical ). So instead we decided to go to Westminster instead to see the typical sights Big Ben & House of Parliament.
♡ On our way there ♡
♡ This was kinda weird but cool at the same time, I'm confused as to what exactly it is but I'm guessing this is where people will put their Skateboards when they're pretty much done with them ♡
♡ I was planning to go on the London eye but the queue was ridiculously long & personally I didn't want to wait that long in the heat maybe next time...? We also wanted to go to the London Dungeons as well, but like the London Eye queue it was really long, maybe even longer! So instead, me & my sister decided to go to an aquarium since we both love them! If I was intelligent enough I would of loved to have been a Marine Biologist, so that's why I find aquariums so interesting♡
♡ I love Sting Rays, they're actually one of my favourite Sea Creatures. Me & my sister had to wait ages to actually get right next to the tank as people kept pushing in ; 0 ; but the wait was worth it because they were so cute & kept coming up to the edge of the tank for food, unfortunately though you couldn't feed them or stroke them. But seeing them was enough for me! There were also other fish in this tank as well which were equally as adorable! ♡
♡ Starfish! We actually got to touch it & a Sea Anemone as well ♡
♡ I wonder how many bells it's worth e u e ehehehoohoho... ♡
♡ This tank was so cute & was full of Chubby fish, can you see the chubby starfish in the background? ♡
♡ The penguin in the background just kept staring at the wall, I felt really sorry for it, but it was so adorable! I would of had more photos in the Aquarium but I found it hard to take pictures of the creatures in the tanks & to be honest, I don't really want a full blog post on fish, lol. I also didn't buy anything from there because things were overpriced, even the pictures we had taken at the beginning ♡
♡ I also didn't buy anything big from there because things were overpriced, even the pictures we had taken at the beginning, but me & my sister did donate money towards this Turtle protection program & got these wristbands. Also my ticket had an Octopus on it e u e ... ♡
♡ I actually didn't get a lot of photo's of me from the trip, but I got these two in front of Big Ben, I'm not that keen on the second in all honesty but yeah . __ . ♡
♡ So shortly after leaving the aquarium my parents, Aunt & Uncle said that we were going back to where we were staying ( My Auntie & Uncles house ), but me & my sister felt like we hadn't done enough, so instead we went of to China Town as last time we went there we sort of rushed through it. ♡
♡ China Town ♡
♡ This shop had such cute cakes! It also had some of them Roll Cakes ( is that what you call them? ) & many different Japanese drinks & Snacks. Although I didn't buy anything from here because we found another shop up ahead which sold pretty much the same thing but had a little more variety. I didn't buy much from it though, I mean there were massive boxed of Pocky & Hello Panda but I decided that I would rather buy more when I go back & can properly spend loads in China Town! They also had Mochi & peach tea, but I decided to only buy one thing ♡
♡ This is the only 'food' related item I got from China Town. I've wanted to try Calpis Water for ages since I kept seeing it around on the internet, so I decided to buy it! ♡
♡ Rest of the China Town Stuff, I will show you in detail further down. But when me & my family went to China Town last time we spent ages trying to find a Purikura machine & failed - badly. But this time we found a street which we hadn't been on before, so we decided to go down it. We found several interesting shops, one which sold figures ( I decided to not get any though since I can get them online ), a Cosmetic shop ( I didn't buy anything else there either since I wanted to save my money for Camden ) & of course the shop with the Purikura machine. I don't think it's the Purikura machine I've seen others go to, but it was still really cute. Me & my sister did have to wait ages to use it though since there were another group in there before us. So in the mean time, I decided to buy a few things! ♡
♡ I first got these adorable Cat Stickers, they were only £2.00 so I thought 'why not? ', I have a growing cute sticker collection so these would be a nice addition to them! I wanted to buy more since they had the cutest collection, but maybe next time since I didn't want all of my money to go on stickers! ♡
♡ So I then got this really adorable Bunny Lens Case, my sister actually pointed these out, they had them in many other colours, but of course I got it in pink! They were only £2.50 as well! ♡
♡ These cute Strawberry Bento Boxed caught my eye, just like the Lens Cases they came in other colours like Blue, but I felt they didn't look right so of course I got Pink again! Unfortunately though, I don't know if you can see it but this box has a small crack in it, which I only realized was there when I got back ; ^ ; I mean it only was £6.00 but eh, maybe I will get another when I go back. So after I bought my stuff we went to take photos in the Purikura booth. Me & my sisters photos kept blurring so it took us ages to get photo's we actually like, aha! So do you wanna see them? ♡
♡ We decided to get A5 ones! ♡
♡ Fries! This was by far my favourite background! ♡
♡ My sister's favourite animal is a Goat so she made one our background, aha, so for cuteness I added the Hime type roses! ♡
♡ This is my least favourite of them, I have proper fangs on it aha. Also Kiki's 'I Love You' Balloon is backwards ♡
♡
♡ All of them together. I'm a little sad that the photos were scratched , so next time I will pay a little more for them to be sent by email as well! But overall the booth was fun & totally worth it! So after that me, my mum & sister went back to my Auntie & Uncles house. The next day we had to get up super early for Camden Market! ♡
♡ On the way to Camden we saw ' The World's End ' pub. Obviously not the one in the film, but my sister recently saw the film & wanted a photo of it! ♡
♡ Whilst we were at Camden we visited 'Cyberdog', it's a good idea for a shop, but the stuff is really not my thing. I mean they had a few things I liked but I don't think I would ever buy anything from there, also the music is really loud ( call me old or whatever, lmao ), like almost deafening! So after we decided to go visit SaiSai. I've heard many things about SaiSai, a lot of them being quite bad, due to it having replicas & things not being 'good quality'. But I hate people making opinions for me, so I decided to look around the shop myself & form my own opinion. On the first floor I didn't find many Lolita things, so I actually was really confused, but then I realized they had a second floor in which they had a lot more stuff. I actually wasn't disappointed, I found several things, some being in the sale, which I actually was fond of. I tried on one outfit but it was way above my budget, but it was actually really cute! I then tried on a JSK which was in the Sale but it was too long on me, even with petticoats ( I'm such a Hobbit ; 0 ; ) the print was so pretty as well, it was kind of Fairytale princess type. So instead I settle on a cute blouse which was only £20 in the sale, maybe if it was more I wouldn't of got it, but it looks nice on! The women who also worked there were also ridiculously nice, I actually heard one of them Compliment me on how I suited the style & how I was cute, haha, I was so embarrassed, but flattered all the same ♡
♡ The Business Card ♡
♡ So you can't see the blouse particularly well here, but you can sort of get the jist of it. It has a corset type ribbon on the back so you can make it fit to your body shape which I love! I don't have any photo's of me wearing it though since it needed ironing at this point! What's my personal opinion of the shop? Well personally, I'm not too fussed about replicas I would happily buy one since I don't really have the money to splash out on a Real one just yet! I think the store sells pretty good stuff, the quality isn't the best, but I would say decent & if I was to find something else I liked in their I would happily buy it! ♡
♡ So finally I went to Rockit. I never expected to find anything I like in there but I was surprised. I actually found this adorable pair of dungarees, but they were most likely too large for me ; 0 ; & I also found a Vintage night dress for Cult Party Kei but I decided not to! Instead I just bought this cute Tommy Hilfiger shirt! I'm a sucker for pink gingham so I gave in to it. As you can see it's a Large, but I like things fitting loose & I can easily tuck it into a skirt or shorts! ♡
So that's pretty much it for what happened in London, in a few weeks I'll be back there again for the Harry Potter studios! Sorry this post has been so long, I'll be back next time with another review. But in the meantime, I hope you're all well & thankyou for reading!
