♡ Birmingham MCM 2015 Haul & Gogo Tomago Cosplay ♡

So on the 20th March me, Robyn and our friend Ethan attended Birmingham MCM!
It was our first MCM of this year and I was super excited for it! Like usual I'm going to show you some of our photos from the day and a small haul from the Convention. I've found that the more Coventions I go to, the less photos I take with people? Not because I don't like their Cosplay, but I just like talking to people more!

For this Convention, me and Robyn decided to jump on the bandwagon of Big Hero 6 Cosplays as we had recently seen it and fell in love! Robyn was definite on being Hiro Hamada, but I was unsure whether I wanted to be Gogo Tomago or Honey-Lemon! I went to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get your guys opinion and it turned out that a lot of people wanted me to be Gogo! I'm still going to Cosplay Honey Lemon, but I decided to start on my Gogo Cosplay straight away as I didn't have much time!

It was quite an easy Cosplay to put together and didn't cost me more than £25.00! As the first Convention of the year I was happy that my first Cosplay was comfy but still recognisable and recent! I was really happy I chose Gogo, I was the only one I saw at the convention, so people
seemed happy to see me.

The day itself was pretty straight forward, got up early (I had to rush a little but I did some make up on the train so it was fine), got two trains and got in the convention! I didn't enjoy it as much at first, but as I got more into the day, it was really good. It was also the first convention I had attended with Ethan, so it was super fun!I'm not going to upload the photos with the other Cosplayers, just incase some are uncomfortable with them being on here!

However, because our train after the Convention was quite late, we had time to get a few photos as Hiro and Gogo! We had some together:

♡ A Guide to Cosplay | Part 1: Introduction and Getting Started ♡

Two years ago I started to Cosplay properly and get more involved in the Cosplaying Community. Ever since, it's played a big role in my life. Quite often I get asks from others asking about different aspects of Cosplaying, whether it's advice or just general questions about the hobby.
One of my New Year's resolutions, along with many others, was to bring more variety into my blog and to get more involved with it. To do more Fashion/ Beauty related and Advice/ Chatty posts instead of just reviews. So that's why I've decided to do this series, which focuses on various aspects of Cosplaying. I'm not entirely sure how many of these blog posts I'm going to have, I'm thinking of three minimum. Not only am I going to answer some of the questions which some of you have asked but take you through each step of Cosplaying; from Preparation to going to Conventions!
So today I bring you the first instalment of this series, in which I'll mainly be introducing you to Cosplaying.

Before I start this though, in no way, shape or form do I think I'm some *fantastic* Cosplayer nor do I think I'm an expert. But as I'm approaching my third year in the community, I feel like I've gained knowledge and have had a good reception from others. Although, whilst giving you guys tips, I'm still learning as well so am open to your advice!

♡ Cinderella M.A.C Collection | 2015 Release + Disney Beauty Collaborations ♡

So if you're a Disney fan, you'll already know that 2015 has some exciting film releases, including Big Hero 6, Into the Woods, Frozen Fever and the live action Cinderella (a live action Beauty and the Beast was also announced last month featuring Emma Watson as well which I couldn't be more happier about!) - I really hope the release more live action Princess movies in the future but for now I'll carry on with this.

Now, if your into Beauty and Disney then M.A.C have an amazing collection coming your way!
The film itself is being released in March and features Downton Abbey's Lily James as Cinderella, but the M.A.C collection itself is being released later this month on M.A.C Cosmetics (for the US anyway).

❄ What I got for Christmas 2014! ❄

image

Hello everyone!
So my second blogpost of this year is actually going to be what I got for Christmas haul, I know it's late, but I still want to do it as I spent ages taking the photos for this ; v ;

From a lot of my family I got money and I've spent quite a bit of that, but I'm probably going to show a lot of the things I bought in a Collective Haul later on this year? as I've still got quite a bit to spend!
Also before I start this haul properly I want to make it clear that I am so grateful for everything I received and am so lucky to have such a generous family!

So if you follow my twitter, you'll know that before Christmas I ordered a Liz Lisa dress! Well that was actually a present off of my grandparents, I've been wanting this particular style of dress for a while and when I found someone else selling it new with tags for a pretty good price, I couldn't resist! The dress fits so cute, it's quite dressy I feel so I haven't had the chance to wear it properly yet, but I can't wait to!

I also made a coordinate with it! The bag was also a gift but off of my parents!

♡ SheInside Pink Lapel Coat | Sponsored Review ♡

image

Hello everyone!
So it seems I haven't blogged at all so far this year, but it's mainly because I've been busy with my Mock Exams and Coursework! But luckily my mocks are over now and even though Coursework is building up, I'm a little less busy!
But before I go ahead and say anything, I hope that you had an amazing Christmas, or to those who don't celebrate it, had a happy holiday. I also wish you a Happy New Year (even though I'm 16 days late) and hope the new year brings you loads of great things!
So today I'm going to bring you the first review of this year and of course, this is from SheInside!
So for those who don't know about this store; SheInside is an online store which sells a huge variety of clothes, makeup and accessories. They also offer FREE Shipping and always have a good offer on!

So this is on sale for $33.98 from $57.98 and comes in Small, Medium and Large. I've been wanting a more formal looking pink coat and this seemed to be perfect! So when I first got this coat I was overly impressed, I was expecting it to be a more 'Blazer-type' material, so was to surprised see that it was thick with lining. The shape to the coat is exactly as pictured in the stock photo, as for the colour I'd say in real life it's definitely a tad bit more vibrant than the stock photo (and mine, apologies for that).

❄ 'Kawaii' Gift Guide | Christmas 2014 ❄

Hello! I hope you're all well!
So as you know, Christmas is next week! It's come so quickly and it's most likely that most of you have finished your Christmas shopping! But for those, like myself, who are still in the process of putting together presents it can be a little tricky to find the perfect presents. So today I'm going to be putting together a 'Gift Guide' for you; of course because my blog is aimed at the 'Kawaii' audience, the items I have chose are aimed at them. I've also done two different guides, one for those who don't have a lot to spend, so an under £10 one and one for those who don't mind spending that little more, so over £10. Even if you don't like the item I've pictured on my guide, hopefully it will give you more of an idea of what to get! I've also chose more UK based items and hopefully items which, if you order will arrive in time.
So lets begin!

❄£10 and Under

Glittered Bow Barrette £2.00 - The first item I chose was this cute bow from Forever21, I chose out this one in particular as I think it would be great for New Year, but as well as that black pretty much goes with anything! Even if you don't like this particular bow, Forever 21 and many other places offer a really cute variety. Not to mention it's only £2.00 so you can buy several and put together a set or buy matching accessories!
